Box making even simpler

We've manufactured a prototype, which can make welpaper boxes in a simple way.


You can crease or perforate all 4 sides of the wellpaper sheet, cut it like in the following picture and you can stick or staple the box.


In this way you can produce so called "telescope-type boxes" consisting of more than one piece and are characterised by a lid and/or bottom telescoping over the body of the box.

A simple way of making corrugated paper boxes

You don't need an expensive machine to create your own corrugated paper boxes.


Just mount a guide on a chipboard plate and you can cut the corrugated paper with a sharp knife, you can crease it with a not so sharp knife.


You can perforate alongside the guide with a simple perforating tool. In this way there is no problem with the wave direction of the corrugated paper, you can perforate it easily.



We made this perforating tool from a perforating knife which we use in our kisscutting-creasing-perforating machines.

Punching positioned to printed elements on the sheet

Some customer of us has asked, that how could they punch with the Paperfox paper punches so that the hole should be positioned to the printed elements on the sheet. The printed elements maybe not always in the same place on the sheets, so the positioning the edge of the sheets to the paper guides not a proper solution.

You can use the Paperfox MP-1 press with an MPA-1 table. (The MP-2 paper punch with an MPA-2 table or a KB-32 paper punch with an MA-500 table also can be used in similar way.)


Stick a transparent foil on a 3mm thick plastic plate. (You can use a VLPOM cutting plate. )


Use an adhesive band and stick the foil at a side on the plastic plate.


The plastic foil can be folded up, but if you fold it back it will always get back in the same position.

Place the plastic plate under the MP-1 press equipped with a MPA-1 table and position it to the paper guides as in the picture.


Punch the foil with the Paperfox MP-1 paper punch.


Now the plastic plate and the punched transparent foil looks like in the following picture:


Insert the sheet which you want to punch under the transparent foil and position the printed elements on the sheet under the punching in the transparent foil.


Place the plastic plate with the transparent foil and the paper which you want to punch under the MP-1 paper punch. Position the plastic plate to the paper guides.


Punch the paper! In this way you can punch the sheet in the required place.

Case maker

We have manufactured a very simple case maker device.




You can create hard covers with this simple device. The positioning of the covering paper is helped by an electric light. 



A few years ago we have constructed a similar device which used vacuum for keeping the covering paper in the same position.

Rewinder equipped with "chicken ladder"

We equipped our A-1000 rewinder with a "chicken ladder" like device. Well, actually we don't want chickens to climb on our machines, but we wanted to secure the accurate position during rewinding with this device.

And this is not everything! We equipped with our new "chicken ladder" with a "cutting unit.


If you want to use several cutting unit on our A-1000 rewinder you need a stronger motor and transmission to produce the increased rewinding force.

Corner guide for Paperfox KB-32 press.

The maximum corner radius which you can make with the usual corner rounders is 10..12mm.
With the Paperfox MP-1 press you can make even 30mm corner radius.

But what if you need bigger rounding?
We have manufactured a spacial corner guide for Paperfox KB-32 multifunction press, which makes it possible!


Do you need more? The is a corner guide prototype with you can make bigger rounding or you can cut special shapes into the corner of paper sheets.






With this machine you can make for example the printed covering paper of boxes.

A positioning solution in the Paperfoxdie cutters

Some customer of us asked, that how could they position the sheets in the Paperfox cylinder die cutters, if the cutting should be positioned to the positioning marks or to the graphic printed on the sheet.


You should mount a plexy plate with a scharnier to the die cutting tool. Mark the place of the cutting edges on the plexyglas. (You can do it withslightly pressing the plexy to the tool in your die cutting machine as well)






Place the shhet you want to cut on the tool and fold the plexyglas sheet on and position the sheet in the required position.


Fold off the plexy from the tool and place a cutting plate on it.
After this you can use your Paperfox cylinder die cutter in the usual way.
